  • 120ml warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 1 apple (peeled and diced)
  • 40g unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In another bowl, whisk warm milk, egg, and softened butter; then mix into dry ingredients to form dough.
  2. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl covered for about 30 minutes until doubled.
  3. For fillings: Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Cook diced apples in butter with brown sugar and cinnamon until soft.
  4. Make crumble topping by mixing flour and sugar with cold butter until crumbly.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle; layer cheesecake filling followed by apple filling. Roll tightly and cut into pieces.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; top with crumble mixture.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before drizzling with glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with milk.
