- 10-ounce bag frozen butternut squash or sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) cold butter, grated
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 large egg, lightly whisked
- 1/3 cup pure pumpkin
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- kosher salt & ground black pepper, to season
Instructions
