Description

  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • Juice and zest of ½ lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt the softened butter in a pan over low heat until just melted.
  2. Stir in garlic, mustard, lemon juice and zest, herbs, paprika, cayenne, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a log about 1-inch in diameter.
  4. Refrigerate wrapped log for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Slice or melt before serving according to preference.
