  • 15 oz dark red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 15 oz cannellini beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz Ditalini pasta
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 7 minutes; drain excess grease.
  2. Add diced onion, carrots, and celery. Stir occasionally for about 10 minutes until softened. Mix in minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  3. Combine all remaining ingredients except pasta into the pot. Let simmer for 20 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. Cook Ditalini pasta separately according to package instructions until firm; drain.
  5. Stir in drained pasta just before serving and garnish with fresh basil.
