  • 60 g Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (or a mix of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg)
  • 60 g Water
  • 20 g Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 80 g Granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine lukewarm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until bubbly.
  2. Add eggs, flour, salt, and butter; mix until smooth.
  3. Knead dough for 8–10 minutes until elastic; let rise until doubled.
  4. Prepare filling by heating butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon; stir in apples.
  5. Roll out dough, spread filling evenly, roll into a log, and twist.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until golden brown; glaze with syrup.
